The DynaVap Cap Armor is a precision-machined stainless steel sleeve designed to enhance compatible DynaVap Captive Caps. As a modular upgrade, it increases the thermal mass and heat storage of the cap without having to replace the existing captive cap. This supports longer heating cycles, more even heat distribution and more controlled extraction. The design is such that the sleeve snaps securely over the top collar of the captive cap while maintaining adjustability and airflow. Complete extractions can be achieved in as little as one to two heating cycles, depending on the application. It is fitted by carefully pressing it onto a compatible captive cap, ideally in the assembled state. Due to the press fit, slight marks or small indentations may occur on the upper collar of the cap, which is due to the design and does not impair the function.
